In the past, people wore traditional clothing and followed their culture. Most people these days wear similar clothes and therefore look very much alike. Do you think this is a positive or negative change?
People’s views on the value of clothing are changing these days, and people tend to wear the same clothing compared to people in the past who chose their traditional clothes. I believe this trend is having a positive impact on society.
It is certainly true that this trend has some drawbacks as it can lead to a loss of global diversity. It could be argued that those who wear casual clothes like T-shirts and jeans may not feel connected to their roots and they probably neglect their culture and the contributions of their ancestors. Consequently, these people may not be proud of their region and may migrate to cities rather than contribute to the development of their community. Consequently, many ethnic minorities can suffer from depopulation and eventually disappear.
However, I believe that there are more positives than negative aspects in people choosing such clothes. The first explanation is that people can feel a sense of oneness with people around the world, even though they are of different religions and lifestyles. This mind will motivate the people in the world to support each other instead of thinking that different parts of the world have to solve their own problems when natural disasters and other terrible problems happen in different countries. In addition, this direction is economically profitable. Generally speaking, since ordinary clothing is made automatically, it can be produced faster and cheaper than traditional clothing such as the Japanese kimono, which is handcrafted.
In conclusion, although today people tend to do so … wear similar clothes instead of traditional ones, and this trend will cause a number of problems. I believe that society as a whole can benefit more from this trend.
